Young anglers are invited to submit their favorite fishing photos celebrating kids, fishing adventures, and outdoor memories on the Elk-Skegemog Lakes and surrounding waters (Elk River, Elk and Skegmog Lakes, and the Torch and Rapid Rivers).
Photos will be judged based on excitement, creativity, and photo quality — not fish size! We have a panel of three judges that will vote to choose the best photo. We will also post the photos to our social media.
Our sponsors, Vos and Pat Guntzviller, have generously donated gift cards for each months winner and a special Grand Prize.
The contest runs throughout June, July, and August 2026, with monthly winners selected each month:
In September, one Grand Prize winner will be selected and will receive a professionally mounted fish!
Gift cards and mount are donated by Guntzviller’s Taxidermy and Spirit of the Woods Museum and can be redeemed at their location in Williamsburg.
