Please join or renew as an ESLA member as dues pay the lion’s share Sunset over the Elk Lake Narrowsof ESLA’s work to preserve and protect the water quality, boating safety, and riparian enjoyment of their properties on Elk and Skegemog lakes and the Elk, Torch, and Rapid rivers. Costs for the work our non-profit and its volunteer board undertake have increased sharply in recent years. Your dues pay the bills to control or prevent introduction or expansion of invasive plants and animals, inform our members of best strategies to improve and protect their waterfronts, conduct research to understand immediate and future concerns, inform our members with an improved website, printed newsletters and email blasts. And so much more. We have a DNR-issued permit to install and remove buoys marking safe passage from Lake Skegemog to the Torch River annually. Our Shore Thing meetings from April to October have attracted large audiences to hear experts on issues for our waters. Unsure whether we have your email, contact us and be sure to include your waterfront address.
